“Italia Nostra” – is oldest national association working for the defence of the historical, cultural and environmental heritage of Italy. The Association is particularly concerned in educational projects involving adults programs on “landscape” and environment- in the meaning given by the European convention signed in Florence in 2000- and european values. The work group in Trasimeno area is also creating a Laboratory of European Training (“LINFE”) in order to sensibilize citizenship to eurapean values via natural and cultural heritage. The association organize courses for adult teacher about environmental education and strategies to protect landscape and valorize this kind of activities inside the school through non-formal education activities. Our section is located in Castiglione del Lago, in Umbria, here through sensitize activities we promote the culture of the respect of landscape, material and immaterial heritage. Our section counts 22 volunteers, architects, experts in art, expert in gardens, archeologists, trainers, teachers and professors.
